Lauri Konttori started his prolific
gaming career working as a sales clerk in a game shop 1993 in Nummela, a small town in Southern Finland. His first job in game industry was at a game developer called Relude, which was the predecessor of Rovio, back in 2003. He worked as a graphic designer there and once the company transformed itself into Rovio, Konttori became a game designer. Before leaving Rovio to start a new educative game company Lightneer, Konttori designed a match-3 puzzle game in collaboration with Shakira, called Shakira Love Rocks (2015). Currently he is working on small casual games to find the golden nuggets of fun.
