REKO

UKKO

Reko Ukko spent his youth playing with Commodore 64 and trading games at the local school yard.

In 2007 he joined the ranks of Digital Chocolate, which was focusing on mobile games. Ukko worked on plethora of game projects including California Gold Rush (2009) until moving on to Remedy, where he joined the Alan Wake’s American Nightmare (2012) project.

He was headhunted to England to work for NaturalMotion, where he got involved in designing the mobile hit game Clumsy Ninja (2013) and CSR Racing (2012) and lead the team of game designers.

When Petri Järvilehto, one of the founders of Remedy and later the leader of Rovio’s game division, wanted to start a new company, it was time for Reko to move back to his native country and in 2013 they founded Seriously. To date Seriously’s Best Fiends games have surpassed 80 million downloads and 100M USD revenue in total.
